“June has been a difficult month for me for a while now so I wanted to try to make it a little different this year. I decided to take the month off from work commissions to just paint. Paint for me and return to landscape painting which is my true love. It was tough at first to let loose and let go of all the expectations I had, but once I started making art for art's sake...well I started remembering why I fell in love with art in the first place. I learned a lot about my creative process, but most of all I learned a lot about me. I worked on reclaiming my space, my art, and myself. And I’m looking forward to what's next.”
