The following was my message around this piece at the time it went up in December of 2020: "The holidays can already be a tough time for many people. Add a pandemic and it becomes even more stressful and difficult. Whether you are a patient / family feeling isolated from your support system, a staff member who is feeling burnt out, or really anyone who comes through the lobby of Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital with the heaviness of loss weighing on them, I hope this window display can be a place of respite for you. I wanted to create a soft scene for your eyes to rest as you pass by quickly, but also to wander through if you stop to look closer."
